Hello treasured friends and family! We hope this finds you doing wonderfully. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the bottom of our hearts! 2017 has been a landmark year for us. We’ll share some of the highlights, some exciting news about our growing family, and some ways you can partner with us going forward.
This March, we completed a lofty goal: becoming debt-free. We finished paying off over $110K in student, auto, personal, and credit card debt. With a desire to raise a family, we felt this was an essential pursuit. It taught us a tremendous amount about stewardship, sacrifice, and working together as one toward a shared goal. We’re pumped to see many others who are on the same journey to financial freedom!
In celebration of that achievement, we took an adventure to Alaska this summer. We transformed a tired 1989 Dodge Van and into a camper, then drove it over 7,000 miles from our driveway all the way to Alaska! The expedition far exceeded our expectations. The sights along the way were so breathtaking that we eventually started running out of adjectives to describe them. We also connected with quite a number of fantastic people along the way, some planned, others spontaneously. We are so thankful to have been able to take that trip of a lifetime.

We departed for Alaska just the two of us, but returned as three! Much to our great joy, we are expecting our first child to join us on the outside in May 2018. This week we found out it’s a girl! We couldn’t be more excited to begin this new phase of life together as parents. We hope you will pray for us as we continue into parenthood. We already need it, and expect we’ll need it even more going forward!
The two of us continue to enjoy our full-time jobs, both providing a fulfilling combination of opportunities for growth with an empowering and collaborative team. Hannah is Accounting Coordinator at Love146, an organization dedicated to eliminating child trafficking. Evan is a Research Analyst at CloudGenera, a software company that helps businesses determine what cloud solutions best meet their needs.
Evan counsels two days per week at Grace Life International, and manages their technology needs. He sees 8 clients regularly, having seen 25 total since he officially began in 2016. They are finding freedom from anxiety, depression, addiction, and past hurts. He has had the honor of counseling several couples pursuing healing and reconciliation in the aftermath of infidelity, a clear picture of the truth that our ministry flows out of the healing of our own hearts. Hannah plays a critical role as a source of support and encouragement. We couldn’t do all of this without the confidence of who we are in Christ, and its outflowing in our lives as we love and support one another each day.
Will you partner with us to help with our two largest needs in the coming year?
1. Medical expenses. Gratefully we are insured, but deductibles and other out-of-pocket expenses must be paid. Healthcare during pregnancy, birth, and early childhood is very costly. This is a very practical way your partnership can impact our lives personally.
2. Producing online courses for Grace Life International. We are building “On Demand” video courses for the Grace Life Conference and Grace Life University. Your partnership will assist with the video production expenses and the development expenses for the website and/or mobile apps. This will ultimately help us reach thousands of new people with the life-giving power of God’s grace.
Your monthly partnership at any amount would be incredibly helpful in supplying for these needs. One time contributions are also a great help. If you aren’t able to partner with us financially, we would be immensely appreciative of your prayers and encouragement. Ultimately, we welcome your partnership in any form, and express our sincere gratitude for it.
Contributions can be made to Grace Life International, and are tax-deductible. You can give securely here.
Our best to you and yours,
Evan and Hannah Dixon
